Cookie Policy
What we store on your device, what's optional, and how to change your mind later.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small key-value pairs your browser stores for a website. We also use
localStorage in places (similar idea, different mechanism). For the
purposes of EU cookie law, we treat both the same: essential ones are always on,
everything else is opt-in.
2. What we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
- Session cookie — keeps you logged in. Without it, the game can't tell who you are. Lifetime: up to 30 days, expires on logout.
-
hs_lang(localStorage) — remembers your language pick (en/hu/de). - CSRF token — short-lived, prevents form-tampering attacks.
Functional (opt-in)
-
hs_music(localStorage) — remembers whether you had the ambient music on. Saved when you click the toggle. -
hs_pwa_dismissed(localStorage) — hides the "Install app" pill after you dismiss it.
Analytics (opt-in)
Currently none. If we ever add product analytics, it will be privacy-respecting, aggregated, and gated behind explicit consent in the banner.
Advertising
None. We do not run ads, do not use ad pixels, and do not share data with ad networks.
3. Changing your choice
You can reset your cookie preferences anytime by clicking — the consent banner will appear on your next page load.
You can also clear cookies and localStorage in your browser settings at any time. Doing so will log you out and reset your preferences.
